Ora moved to Budapest where she learned machine knitting. She helped refugees from Slovakia. Ora distributed forged documents and ran various errands. She left Hungary at the end of June 1944 on the train of the Relief and Rescue Committee. She made aliya in September 1945. She stayed in Kfar Hamaccabi and Kibbutz Metzuba. She was one of the founders of Kibbutz Tze’elim. Nowadays she is a member of Kfar Hahoresh.
